Soil Art Tales

Living Ecosystems for Shared Futures

A travelling exhibition organized by the Global Network of Water Museums  within the SoilTribes project.

Soil Art Tales invites audiences across Europe to rediscover soil as a living ecosystem.

Through contemporary art, the exhibition explores the deep interconnections between soil, water, and life. Often overlooked, soil sustains life, carries memory, and nourishes every future we can imagine. This exhibition opens new ways of seeing and feeling those connections through artistic practice, public dialogue, and shared experience.

Curated by Stefano Cagol, the exhibition features works by four internationally recognized artists:

  • Binta Diaw
  • Nikki Lindt
  • Jo Pearl
  • Miguel Teodoro

At each stop, the exhibition is enriched through partnerships with museums, cultural institutions, and art centers, creating space for educational programmes, workshops, and hands-on activities.
