Soil Art Tales in Rome
On 14 May 2026, SoilTribes invites you to step into that story with the opening of “Soil Art Tales – Living Ecosystems for Shared Futures” at Villa Altieri in Rome. This traveling exhibition brings soil to life through artistic expression, transforming how we see, feel, and connect with the ecosystems that sustain us.
Developed within the SoilTribes project , Soil Art Tales explores the deep connections between soil, water, and life through art, storytelling, and emotion.
Curated by Stefano Cagol and presented by WAMU-NET, the exhibition features works by four international artists:

- Jo Pearl
- Miguel Teodoro
A traveling exhibition with a growing impact
As part of a traveling initiative, Soil Art Tales expands its reach across different communities, creating spaces for dialogue, reflection, and engagement.
The Rome exhibition is expected to:
- Engage local audiences and international visitors
- Increase visibility of SoilTribes’ cultural and creative outputs
- Contribute to soil literacy through storytelling and artistic interpretation
