SoilTribes 6th Meet-Up: Soil Health, Food Quality, and Climate Resilience

The SoilTribes Community of Practice (CoP) continues to grow as a dynamic space for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and action. On 29 April 2026, from 17:00 to 18:30 CET, the 6th Meet-Up will take place online, bringing together CoP members and the wider public for an engaging and interactive session.

This edition will focus on Soil Health, Food Quality, and Climate Resilience, exploring the connections between sustainable soil management, resilient food systems, and today’s environmental challenges. The session will highlight how soil health shapes not only what we eat, but also how communities respond to climate change.

The Meet-Up will feature two speakers who will bring complementary perspectives to the discussion:

Leonor Pereira from the LivingSoiLL Project will present “Co-creation, Monitoring and Innovation for Healthy Soils in Permanent Crops”, offering insights into collaborative approaches and innovation for healthier soils.

Lot Amoros, SoilTribes CoP Member, will present “Can art and technology restore the soil?”, opening up the conversation on how creative and interdisciplinary approaches can help reconnect society with soil.

Through this Meet-Up, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore the links between soil health, food quality, and climate resilience
  • Hear insights from experts working across science, innovation, art, and community engagement
  • Exchange knowledge and perspectives with peers from different sectors

The session is open to all who are interested in soil literacy, collaboration, and action.

In the meantime, you can become part of the growing SoilTribes network and access similar opportunities by joining the Community of Practice.
