SoilTribes 4th Meet-Up: Citizen Science for Soil Health

The SoilTribes Community of Practice is convening its fourth Meet-Up, scheduled to take place online on Tuesday, 20 November 2025, from 16:00 to 17:30 CET. This session will focus on Citizen Science for Soil Health, highlighting community-driven approaches to soil observation, monitoring, and sustainable management.

Hosted by INOVA+, this online event is part of the SoilTribes webinar series under the EU Mission: Soil. It aims to showcase how citizens, ranging from researchers and educators to municipalities, NGOs, and grassroots initiatives, are actively contributing to soil stewardship through participatory science.

The session will explore practical methods for involving communities in soil monitoring, present digital tools that support citizen engagement, and share real-world examples from Living Labs and Lighthouses. It will also examine how these efforts can inform policy and strengthen the connection between science and society.

Open to all members of the SoilTribes Community of Practice and the wider public, this Meet-Up offers a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge and raise awareness on sustainable soil management.
