Open call: Lump Sum Micro-Grants for the SoilTribes Community of Practice Members

At its core is the SoilTribes Community of Practice (CoP), a vibrant, mission-driven network made up of members from academia, business, government, civil society, and the natural environment. Through co-creation, design thinking, and resource sharing, CoP members co-develop tools, campaigns, events, and policy proposals that drive systemic change for healthier soils.

To support this ecosystem, SoilTribes offers four rounds of €750 Lump Sum Micro-Grants, with a total of 32 grants available between 2025 and 2026. These grants enable CoP members to attend trainings, events, and implement activities that boost soil awareness and community engagement. The application process is simple, inclusive, and designed with busy professionals in mind.

Applications for the first call are open until 14 July 2025 at 15:00 CET and must align with the goals of the Soil Mission and SoilTribes CoP pillars. Eligible activities include attending or organizing events, accessing advisory services, and conducting communication or education initiatives. A maximum of two micro-grants per member can be awarded across the project’s duration.

With clear evaluation criteria and a transparent selection process, SoilTribes aims to fund impactful, ethical, and inclusive initiatives that contribute to a sustainable future, starting from the ground up.

Can I apply if I’ve already completed the activity I’m proposing?
