Art of soil
Poland

About
Reconnecting people with living soil through participatory art, education, and community action.
Art of Soil is a nine-month initiative led by the Association of Food Cooperatives Network across multiple regions of Poland. It brings food cooperatives, communities, artists, farmers, and soil experts together through workshops, expert meetings, and collective creative processes. Participants learn about soil biology, regeneration, and sustainable food systems while developing locally rooted artworks. The project plans a traveling exhibition, a documentary film, and a practical toolkit, strengthening soil literacy and reconnecting citizens with soil as the foundation of healthy food, ecosystems, and communities.
