A Teacher’s Handbook
Soil and Climate Change
Developed by the Office for Climate Education within the SoilTribes project, this handbook equips educators with practical resources to explore soil health, climate change, and environmental sustainability. It includes 10 formal lessons, two non-formal activities, adaptable learning pathways for primary and secondary students, and supporting videos featuring hands-on experiments and expert insights. Aligned with the GreenComp framework, the resource helps learners understand soil ecosystems, human impacts, climate solutions, and the importance of soil stewardship through scientific inquiry, creativity, and collective action.
