From Soil Health to Business Action: End-User Action Lab in Cluj-Napoca
On 15 May 2026, AgroTransilvania Cluster organized the SoilTribes End-User Action Lab during an outdoor eco-agricultural fair in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
The compact Studio Approach session brought together 26 farmers, producers, entrepreneurs, cooperative members, and civil society representatives to explore how soil health can become part of everyday business decisions.
Held in a dedicated event tent within the fair, the activity created a direct connection between soil-related discussion, local products, agricultural practices, and consumer engagement.
The activity was led by Felix Arion, with Viorelia Rosca as co-facilitator. During the session, 4 cross-sector prototype teams produced 5 action plans focused on integrating soil health into business practices.
Working through the Studio Approach, participants explored how soil health could influence:
- Sourcing policies
- Product labelling
- Customer communication
- Business practices
- Agroecological management transitions
During the session, four cross-sector prototype teams were formed. Together, they produced five business-level action plans focused on practical commitments that could be transferred into participants’ professional contexts.
Through activities such as this, SoilTribes continues to connect soil, society, and the economy while supporting collaborative approaches to sustainable land management.
