About

Multisensory artistic experiences and agroecological practices.

SOIL4SENSES is a 12-month art-science initiative led by CIT Ruraltec – Fundación el Olmo in Valencia and Albacete, Spain. It reconnects rural and urban communities with soil health through soil chromatography, agroecological practices, ethnographic storytelling, sound art, audiovisual creation, dance-theater, food experiences, and a Listening to Soil toolkit. The project addresses Mediterranean soil degradation, biodiversity loss, water infiltration challenges, and climate vulnerability. Its traveling exhibition and dissemination activities will support replication across European territories.
