About

Soil literacy.

Ground Zero: Regeneration is a 12-month digital soil literacy initiative led by R3 Environmental Technology across Europe, especially France and the United Kingdom. It develops an educational Roblox game where young people explore a polluted landscape, trace contamination through soil, water, air, and food chains, and test restoration interventions. The project combines soil science, art, game development, and user testing with more than 120 participants aged 10+. Its expected impact is improved understanding of soil contamination, remediation, and restoration through scalable youth-focused gameplay.
