Italy

About
Soil literacy, agroecological restoration, participatory arts, and community engagement.
Fighting Seeds is a six-month transdisciplinary initiative led by Associazione Culturale L’Amoroso ETS in Sannicandro di Bari, Italy. On an abandoned municipal plot, farmers, students, artists, and local participants work together to protect land from soil sealing through soil sampling, seed exchange, composting, plant identification, field care, artistic labs, and public performances. The project connects Apulia and Palestine through shared agroecological knowledge and cultural exchange. Its final event and open-source archive will share replicable practices for soil stewardship and community regeneration.
