SoilTribes CoP 7th Meet-Up: Exploring Urban Soil Protection

On Thursday, 25 June 2026, from 16:00 to 17:30 CET, the SoilTribes Community of Practice will gather online for its 7th Meet-Up, organized by SoilTribes Consortium partner,  INOVA+.

The session will bring together SoilTribes Community of Practice members and interested stakeholders for an exchange on soil knowledge, sustainability, and environmental impact.

The SoilTribes Community of Practice is a core space for collaboration within the project. It brings together people and organizations working across different fields, supporting knowledge exchange and collective reflection on how soil literacy can become more accessible, practical, and connected to real-world challenges.

The 7th Meet-Up will continue this effort by creating an online space for dialogue between soil experts, community members, and stakeholders interested in the protection and restoration of soil health.

As urban areas continue to expand, the way soil is protected, managed, and reused becomes increasingly important for sustainability, environmental resilience, and healthier places to live. This Meet-Up will invite participants to look at urban soils not as forgotten ground beneath cities, but as valuable resources connected to climate, biodiversity, land use, and community well-being.

Meet the speakers:

Together, the speakers will help open a broader conversation on how soil knowledge can support sustainable decisions, environmental awareness, and community engagement.
